  • Botox / Dysport / Xeomin
    Botox, Dysport and Xeomin are a group of neuromodulators that offer a quick, effective and safe way to soften and improve unwanted frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.  Everyday use of muscles on our face leads to the development of lines that become deeper and more etched into our skin. These injections improve these lines by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause them.

  • Restylane / Lyft / Silk / Juvederm Ultra / Voluma / Radiesse / Belotero / Sculptra / Liquid Injectable Silicone
    Dermal fillers are used to erase unwanted lines, reclaim a more youthful appearance, and lift sagging areas with little to no downtime. In contrast to botox, fillers work by restoring volume rather than by relaxing muscles. Common areas for filler treatments are the cheeks, smile lines, lips, under-eyes, chin and jawline. In certain cases dermal fillers can offer a non-surgical lift. There are many different filler products and the choice of filler is tailored to the individual patient’s needs.

    Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural product that is derived from your own blood and may be used in various ways to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, acne and other scars, and provide a more youthful appearance to your skin. PRP has also emerged as one of the most exciting and effective hair loss treatments in men and women. Obtaining PRP is an in office procedure that involves drawing a small amount of one’s blood and centrifuging it to create a plasma which is rich in platelets. Platelets contain many different growth factors which are responsible for collagen remodeling and wound healing. There are various ways PRP can be administered to the skin:

    1. PRP injections directly into the skin

    2. PRP in combination with microneedling

    3. PRP in combination with lasers such as Fraxel

After obtaining the PRP it is injected into areas of thinning hair on the scalp. A series of injections are usually needed and results are seen over the course of 6 to 8 months.

  • Microneedling
    Microneedling is a procedure that uses multiple tiny needles to create microwounds in the skin thereby stimulating collagen growth.   Microneedling can be performed alone or in combination with PRP to treat fine lines, scarring, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone and texture.  For optimal results a series of treatments are required.

  • Sclerotherapy for Leg Veins
    Sclerotherapy is a safe and non-surgical treatment that can be used to treat unwanted leg veins.  Using a fine needle a solution is injected into each vein causing them to collapse and eventually disappear. A variety of sclerosant liquids are used including Asclera® and hypertonic saline.

    Ulthera is a safe, non-invasive procedure that uses ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin on the face, neck and chest, without surgery or downtime. Ultrasound technology is used to deliver energy beneath the skin, promoting collagen growth and remodeling, that tones and lifts over time.

    IPL treatments also known as photofacials are used to reduce redness and erase brown spots on the face, neck, chest and hands.  Additionally, the treatments promote collagen remodeling and subsequent photorejuvenation.  Multiple treatments are often necessary to achieve results with minimal downtime.

    Sublative RF is a technology used to reduce moderate to severe acne and other scars in all skin types, as well as to promote photorejuvenation. The device delivers radiofrequency energy to the skin promoting collagen remodeling and regrowth.

DERMATOLOGIC SURGERY

  • Mohs Micrographic Surgery
    Mohs Micrographic Surgery is a specialized surgical technique used to remove and cure skin cancer in cosmetically or functionally sensitive areas. Mohs micrographic surgery allows for removal of the entire skin cancer while preserving the healthy and normal surrounding skin. The procedure allows for the highest cure rate, the lowest rate of recurrence, and because we are only removing cancerous tissue it allows for the smallest amount of scarring. By using the microscope we are able to confirm complete removal of cancerous tissue while the patient waits in the office. Once the cancer is completely excised Dr. Brown or Dr. Haimovic will discuss repair options which may include suturing the wound together or allowing it to heal on its own. We recommend having a consultation for evaluation prior to scheduling your Mohs surgery.

  • Skin Surgery
    Skin surgery may be performed for medical or cosmetic indications. Removal of skin cancer by either excision, Mohs micrographic surgery, or electrodessication and curettage is one of our most common indications for skin surgery.  Surgical removal of benign moles, cysts and lipomas are also frequently performed.  To ensure patient comfort local anesthesia is used prior to performing this in office procedure.

LASER TREATMENTS

  • Fraxel
    Fraxel Dual 1550nm/1927nm resurfacing laser treatments target both the superficial and deep layers of the skin to provide a smoother and more youthful appearance. The fraxel laser system improves skin tone and texture, erases unwanted brown spots and photodamage, and reduces and improves the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars, and surgical scars.  It can be used on almost all areas of the body.  The treatments are tailored to your individual needs. More than one treatment may be necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Clear + Brilliant
    The Clear + Brilliant® and Clear + Brilliant Permea® laser addresses early signs of aging including abnormal pigmentation, texture, and pore-size. This effective and affordable laser is very well tolerated with essentially no downtime. This is an ideal treatment for patients with mild photodamage and pigmentary problems who want more radiant skin and a healthy glow. Often times a series of treatments are recommended and a treatment regimen are customized based on your skin’s needs.

  • Vascular Lesion Laser (Vbeam, Pulsed-dye laser)
    Our Vbeam ® laser delivers energy that is selectively absorbed by blood vessels without damaging surrounding tissues. The laser is used to reduce the appearance of broken blood vessels, facial redness, pink or red scars, and port-wine stain birthmarks.  This laser is well tolerated and anesthesia is not necessary.  

  • Laser Hair Removal
    Laser hair removal of excess or unwanted hair is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures.  The LightSheer® hair removal laser offers long term hair reduction on all areas of the body.  The various size handpieces enable us to treat large body surface areas such as the back or legs in a fraction of the time and less discomfort compared to other hair removal devices.

  • MedLite
    The Medlite laser selectively targets pigment in the skin with no damage to surrounding tissue. It is extremely effective for the removal of sun spots, unwanted freckles, melasma, and other of pigmented lesions. Additionally the medlite laser is used to safely and effectively remove tattoos. Tattoo removal may be challenging and multiple treatments are frequently required.
